There are alot of turtle races and talks of "Cooter" on the internet but there is only one " Cooter Fest" and its in Allendale South Carolina May 4-5, 2012. Cooter Fest is big weekend filled with live bands, dj's, carnival rids, food vendors, crafters, professional fireworks display and of course "The Carolina Cooer Race" RACE", where one person will win 1000.00 and the title of "The Worlds Fastest Cooter".
