Welcome to the " Official Site" of the Allendale County Spring Cooter Fest- AKA- Cooter Fest ! One of the great southern festivals that features food, carnival games, live entertainment, and great family fun. The highlight of the festival is the "Running of the Cooters" better known as the Carolina Cooter Race.

The Carolina Cooter Race features a 1000.00 grand prize for the worlds fastest cooter and 100.00 for the best dressed cooter. If your cooter is cute and fast you could win a lotta money and a have a whole lotta fun.!
